Hey guys ! I hope you're fine !
I'm back with a new article which talk about fashion. I thought maybe it was the time to do an article about that because this is one of my blog's priority topics. I let you discover it, good reading ! :)
(Jeans MOM : Stradivarius)

(Pull noir/Black pull : Zara ; Jeans : Pull and Bear ; Cuissardes/Thigh boots : Zara ; Manteau et sac/Coat and Bag : Mango)

English/Anglais :
As you can see, I choose an outfit putting forward the jeans and its so beautiful color. Indeed, I'm wearing a slim skinny jeans, a small bag in (fake) leather and thigh boots.
I will base this article on the jeans and its material.
You konw, I love jeans. I think we can associate the jeans with anything and everyone can find THE jeans for everyday.
Nowadays, we can find any type of jeans like destroy, sober and classy, from the lightest to the darkest and the jeans is the piece that you need in your dressing !
English/Anglais :
At the beggining, the original color of the jeans was the indigo-blue (take a look at the first picture of the article). The jeans was a huge influence for many stylists and is still today.
The jeans was a simple material made of coton and flax which come from the city of Gênes (city in Italia). We can note that the name of the city has a french writing for an italian city. It's because of the french domination during the Monarchy and also the period after the French Revolution.
So returning to the material, he will be export in Europe, mostly in the city of Nîmes (in France) where he will be experimented, that's what we call the "denim" today. The etymology of the word "denim" come from the city of Nîmes. In french, we pronounce "de Nîmes" like "denim", it's a kind of americanization of the writing of these two words.
English/Anglais :
We supposed that the jeans was born by a collaboration between Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis who was tailor in Nevada.
Indeed, Levi Strauss which has his own business (Levi Strauss & Co) in San Francisco, is going to sell some pieces of his materials to Jacob Davis which is going to cut pants and sell them to the workers (more precisely to the miners, the labourers and the lumberjacks).
Davis will become aware of the big success of this sale and he will decide to contact Strauss for a collaboration. Srauss will accept and this collaboration will start in may 1873.
The success of this collaboration is first the denim (which is a very resistant material) but also the choice to do pants than overalls like the others companies do and finally, the use of jeans rivet for a stronger holding of the jeans : image below.

English/Anglais :
First, the product is called Waist overalls as opposed to Bib overalls.
Finally, it's the word "Jeans" which is going to be used during the 20's, referencing to the city of Gênes, but it's only a deformation by the english language (in French, we pronounce Gênes like the beggining of the word GENeration).
It will be used the first time by the brand Can't Bust'Em.
That's it for the definition of the jeans. I really wanted to make it because I think it's important to know the history of things. To me, everything has its story and I think it's interesting to know some little things about it.
I propose you a second outfit with the jeans, but this time in a different way :
(Pull, jupe et collant/Pull, skirt and tights : Primark ; Pochette/Bag : H&M ; Bottines/Low boots : Bershka)

That's it for this article. I wanted to do an article about fashion (as a big fan), but not only a simple article with pictures of me, but also something constructive. I hope that you liked this concept and I invite you to give your opinion in comments or on Instagram/Facebook.
Lots of kiss.
